Open Faculty Position - Assistant Professor

Columbia University's  Institute for Research in African American Studies (IRAAS) and the Department of Anthropology invite applications for a full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor position beginning Fall 2008.

We seek an innovative scholar, subfield open, whose research and writing focuses on the New World African Diaspora. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in anthropology, along with teaching experience and an appropriate publication record, and will hold a joint position in IRAAS and the Department of Anthropology.
